Warranty
Both the P 440 and P 460 come with the SailStar USA comprehensive two year warranty - five years on all stainless steel components. Since both the P 440 and P 460 are built to such high standards we can offer this outstanding warranty.
Computer Controlled
The SailStar USA P 440 and P 460 both feature a very easy to use stateof- the-art computer control. The computer controls all functions of the machine. Standard programs incorporating the latest cleaning techniques control the following functions:
Speed of wash and extract cycles • Solvent levels for each load • Temperature monitoring of all important funtions during the cycle including the solvent, still, condenser, inlet, outlet and the after cooler temperatures • Helps prevent boil overs by monitoring the still temperature • Fault diagnostics - identifies the location of a machine fault for quick servicing
The computer is operator programmable for those special processes and fabrics.

The SailStar USA P 440 andP 460 have been manufactured using components designed for long-life and low maintenance. Incorporated into the design of the P 440 and P 460 are such features as all-copper heat pump and steam coils, a large stainless steel loading door and air valves with solid brass bodies and stainless steel seats. The SailStar USA P 440 and P 460 are packed with features that combine to form machines.
"Speed Dry Airflow System"
The P 440 and P 460 feature the SailStar USA "Speed Dry" airflow system that incorporates a completely round recovery section and is characterized by:
- No corners so airflow is smoother, more efficient and results in faster drying times than conventional recovery chambers.
- A large, oversized lint filter
- Directing air through the button trap so residues are completely dry
- The activation of a fan when either the loading door, lint filter door, button trap door or still door are opened to draw the air through a carbon filter

"Air Pure" Secondary Carbon Absorber
The SailStar USA "Air Pure" secondary carbon adsorber is fully integrated into the system giving you odor-free garments at the end of the cleaning cycle. All functions are completely computer controlled and fully automatic. With the "Air Pure" secondary carbon adsorber, the P 440 and P 460 will process up to 40 loads and up to 60 loads, respectively, before desorption is required. The desorption process is fully automatic and controlled by the computer.
Frequency Inverter Drive
A standard feature on the SailStar USA P 440 and P 460 is the frequency inverter drive. This enables special wash and extract speeds to be programmed through the computer. It gives total flexibility in designing programs for different fabrics and special processes with wash speeds up to 45 RPM and extract speeds up to 450 RPM. This gives complete control of the wash and extract cycles.
